Hi!! I’m Kirschner!! Wondering how I got my name? The apparatus holding my leg together is the “Kirschner Wire” — my foster mom thought that was a great name for me! If you cannot pronounce Kirschner, you can call me Buddy! I have a thing on my leg because I was shot and the bullet shattered my leg. Thankfully the house I limped up to was a volunteer’s house that knew exactly who to call to get me help. Leg-saving surgery followed and now I am receiving excellent post-surgery care and well-deserved spoiling. The vet says I am healing very well and I am loving life with all the attention I am receiving. People say this is what a furever home is like, if that is true, I want one!!! I would make an amazing furever companion! I am around 3 years old and some of my favorite things are canned food (food in general), belly rubs, and snuggle. If I seem like a kitty you can see yourself loving, fill out an application, and call the shelter to get details!!
