Daisy is the Lady for you!
Daisy is the dog for you!
This young lady was made to run, play,be active. She loves people but does have some quirks like Don’t touch her feet. And if you start throwing a ball for her, you should have at least an hour set aside. Other than that she is terrific. Daisy would love to be your partner. Daisy feels like she has been here so long, watching other dogs come and go with new moms and dads. She just wishes someone would stop and look at her. She puts all her love in her eyes, and hopes that you can see it, and would make room in your home and heart for a sweet playful girl like her.

CAT OF THE WEEK
Eleanor is an opinionated lady of an advanced age. (She gets upset when you call her an old lady). She is 10+ years old, and those years have been rough. She enjoys napping, sharing her opinion, giving the kittens disparaging looks when humans are around, and napping with the kittens when humans are not around to see. She is Siamese, and does not want you to forget it. Therefore, you may pet her the desired number of times. Her desired number. How many is that? It’s like the center of the tootsie pop, you don’t know until you hit it. And she likely hits you. Good news is, she is fully declawed, so it doesn’t hurt. 🙂 She doesn’t enjoy a lot of excitement, so young children are probably not going to be a good fit, however she has enjoyed the worship of a young one or two here. As you can see from her photo, she has one ear that is a touch misshapen. She calls it a beauty mark like Cindy Crawford’s mole. In reality, her ear is misshapen due to numerous ear infections that were not treated. Sadly, her ear will always have to be monitored due to the neglect of the past. Do you have it in your home and heart to show her that life is not all neglect? That not all people are bad, and that love is good?

DOG OF THE WEEK!
Dog of The Week
Motley is the dog for you!
Motley is a whole lot of dog to love on! He is a chubby muffin, but he will tell you that’s just more to love! He would be more comfortable watching T.V. with you instead of running a marathon. He’s an older boy, who would prefer his fur friends to be calm or older as well. He’s so over happy bouncy dogs thinking he is a trampoline. He would love to spend his days hanging out on the porch with you, arguing over the ref on a ball game, or telling you how small your butt looks in those jeans, all from the comfort of the couch, or your lap, he’s not one to complain. He’s not a picky eater, and snacks are always welcome. He’s had a spa day since his arrival, and is now shaved and sleek and ready for summer. He’s not sure how he feels about big, open water, but he says that if you want to spend the day on a boat, he’s good for the ride. Motley is first to volunteer as taste tester, and will clean the floor for you if you drop food! What a helpful boy to have around. He’s willing to help with chores too! He volunteers to preclean every plate and bowl before it goes in the dishwasher! That’s right folks, this man does dishes! Can it get better than that? OH, he asked that I share that he doesn’t snore, at least not loudly.

Meet Chloey
I’m Chloey. I’m only about a year old and I can be a little shy at first but I’m a sweetheart when I warm up. I came here after my daddy passed away. It was confusing when the officers came and took me and my sister away from our home but they were really nice and brought us here. My sister found her fur-ever home and now it’s my turn!
All our cats are fixed, micro-chipped, up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, treated for and on flea preventative, as well as tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.
The adoption fee for this cat is $100.00
DOG OF THE WEEK
Meet Lala
Hiya! My name is Lala, what’s yours?? I’m about 2 years old and just full of myself. I am the most adorable girl here at the shelter and I know it. I can be a bit snippy so I can’t be in a home with small children. I take a few minutes to warm up to new people so when you come meet me, be prepared to spend a few minutes winning over my heart!
All of our dogs are fixed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccinations, micro chipped, de-wormed, treated for fleas, heart worm tested and on a heart worm and flea preventative.
The adoption fee for this dog is $200.
